{ Kids bucket hats by Stephen Joseph }

This is what every kid needs for protecting their head from getting sunburned this summer.  It is not yet summer here in Texas but already the sun is bright and my boy wears the Stephen Joseph shark bucket hat when outside.  With the matching sunglasses he looks cool and he swaggers around like he knows it.  It is very cute.

Bottom line: These Stephen Joseph bucket hats are just the cutest things we have found and we can easily embroider the brim with your child's name, so it doesn't get lost.

• One size fits most toddlers
• Made from 100% cotton
• Hats have embroidery, appliqué, and coordinating fabrics and lining

Depending upon the size of your child's head, these should fit up to a 2 year old child. If your child has a large noggin, you might want to reconsider.  My boy is 22 months old with a slightly smaller than average head and the hat fits a little loose but is still a good size.

The circumference of the inside of the hats is 20"  The name on the brim can't be bigger than about 3/4" high by 2-3" long.

Parents can protect their children by dressing them in T-shirts or wrap them in towels, but this limits their freedom of movement and isn’t always feasible when water sports or activities are involved. Instead, try a Stephen Joseph bucket hat. These circular hats feature a wide brim that shields your child’s face and shoulders from strong sunlight and helps protect their precious skin from harmful UV rays. The generous brim also helps to shield your child’s eyes, reducing irritation and redness while making it easier to see and play. Coupled with a healthy dose of sunscreen and a pair of stylish Stephen Joseph sunglasses, your child can successfully avoid both sunburn and strained eyes.

These adorable Stephen Joseph bucket hats fit the majority of toddlers and are fashioned from 100% cotton. They feature colorful embroidery, appliqué, coordinating fabrics, and lining. Each is embroidered with a creative illustration that you may choose upon order. Options include a butterfly, a friendly crocodile, a dolphin, and turtle, and even a crab. Bright and cheerful, these cute head toppers add a bit of verve to any child’s beach-going outfit. Each hat can also be embroidered with your child’s name, not only for added style, but to ensure that it doesn’t get misplaced during your daily activities. The circumference along the inside of each hat measures 20”, and any requested embroidery must measure ¾” high and 2-3” long.

“I love these bucket hats,” writes Felicia from Andover, Massachusetts, “I bought the shark version for my son and he looks absolutely adorable in it. I’m an avid runner and I also like to take him on long walks and I sometimes get concerned that I’m exposing him to too much direct sunlight. Maybe it’s just me being a paranoid mom, but buying the bucket hat really gave me some peace of mind. Not only that, but he just looks so cute!” Meghan of Las Vegas purchased a pair of these caps for her twin sons, Liam and Evan. She writes, “It gets incredibly hot in Las Vegas, sometimes hitting 120°. I try to keep my boys inside as much as possible when it gets that warm, but of course we inevitably have to run errands or visit family. I make sure to keep them cool with a shaded stroller and these hats. They avoid sunburn and potential heat stroke.” Like Felicia and Meghan, make the decision to protect your son or daughter with an impeccably made bucket-hat from Stephen Joseph.

Additional description
  1. For a lucky set of people, spending a day out in the sun is both easy and enjoyable, whether they pass the afternoon lounging on the patio or hitting a few balls at the batting cages. For many more, fun in the sun requires copious amounts of sunscreen as well as constant reapplication. But lathering on layer after layer of SP50 is not the only way to ward off the sun’s hazardous rays, nor it is the only way to keep delicate skin from burning after exposure. For conscientious parents, preventing sunburns is a serious concern. After all, no parent enjoys watching their child suffer from feverish skin and heat exhaustion; not only is in heart-wrenching and unpleasant, but it’s also dangerous.
